Technology changes the way we work and learn.  No longer must we adhere to a rigid regiment of specific time, venue and subject matter.  More companies are opting for e-learning as an enabler to job skills development and also a means to reduce long term training costs as the programs can be made available repeatedly to a larger training population.  Interactive training workshops offer opportunities to benefit from Action Learning but they are more costly because each training workshop only accommodates a limited number of training participants.  Both approaches to learning are complementary.
